The theme for "abertura2" is "communities, collectives and collaboration." We plan to have roundtable discussions, workshops and presentations in which theory can be developed and, in conjunction with the technologies (last year's "abertura 2007" theme) presented in the workshops and presentations, enable the collective practice through performance.

O tema de "abertura2",  é “as comunidades, os colectivos e a colaboração.” Pretendemos incluir mesas redondas, workshops e apresentações onde teoria pode ser desenvolvida e, em conjunto com as tecnologias (conceito do primeiro evento, "abertura" em 2007) apresentadas nos workshops e apresentacoes, possibilitar a práctica colectiva atravéz da performance.

"abertura" is about openness to new art forms, new technologies, new paradigms for living and for working, and to each other as humans and as societies and cultures. The event is based on the idea of collaboration on an international, intermedia and interdisciplinary level in order to further the evolution of the already growing movement towards mutual understanding through art and technology.

"abertura" tem a ver com 'abertura' a novas formas de arte, novas tecnologias, novos paradigmas para a vida e para o trabalho, e a uns aos outros como seres humanos e como sociedades e culturas. Este evento é baseado na ideia da colaboração a nível internacional, intermédia e interdisciplinar, e pretende promover a participação activa na evolução do movimento, cada vez maior, a favor da compreensão mutua através da arte e da tecnologia.
