Hello again!Olá de novo!
Contrary to the previous post, the schedules for Saturday's soundcheck and Sunday's event will no longer be the same. We will be setting up the roundtables, presentations and workshop space and equipment on Saturday morning and there is no need for individual soundchecks for these modalities. Only the Live Sets will be required to check and will have one hour each to do so on Saturday afternoon, after lunch and before dinner. Anyone else who wants to just test out your equipment in the space can do so either in the morning before lunch or in the evening after dinner.
Ao contrário do post anterior, os horários para o soundcheck de Sábado e o evento de Domingo não serão os mesmos. Vamos estar a preparar o espaço e equipamento das mesas redondas, apresentações e workshop no Sábado de manhã e não havera necessidade para soundchecks individuais para estas modalidades. Só os Sets ao Vivo serão requeridos para fazer o soundcheck e terão uma hora cada para o fazer no Sábado à tarde, depois do almoço e antes do jantar. Quem mais quiser testar o vosso equipamento no espaço pode fazê-lo ou de manhã antes do almoço ou à noite depois do jantar.
Por favor tomem nota do vosso horário para o soundcheck e estejam lá a horas. Se houver um conflito sério por favor avisem-nos imediatamente. Notem tambem que o almoço é às 14:00 e o jantar às 22:00. Espero que possam todos vir a esses tambem, mas se nao poderem, por favor avisem o mais rápido possível para confirmarmos o número de pessoas com a cozinheira.

The theme for "abertura2" is "communities, collectives and collaboration." We plan to have roundtable discussions, workshops and presentations in which theory can be developed and, in conjunction with the technologies (last year's "abertura 2007" theme) presented in the workshops and presentations, enable the collective practice through performance.

"abertura" is about openness to new art forms, new technologies, new paradigms for living and for working, and to each other as humans and as societies and cultures. The event is based on the idea of collaboration on an international, intermedia and interdisciplinary level in order to further the evolution of the already growing movement towards mutual understanding through art and technology.

inicio de abertura2
Hoje tinha imenso para fazer e conversei toda a tarde sobre VJing e romances.
Finalmete um dia em que nao choveu aqui em Falmouth. Finalmente aconteceu encontrar a Elsa online, com quem ja tinha tantas saudades de falar do VJing e dos romances.
hoje o verde da minha janela e' lindo (quase artificial) e o meu senhorio, no andar de baixo, toca guitarra. ele e' tao mau como senhorio como e' bom guitarrista. ja adivinho os proximos dias, de copo de vinho, na cadeira grande da sala, com a noite a cair e a guitarra a tocar e eu a fazer montes de imagens passar ao som da musica numa performane unica, pessoal e nao transmissivel.
